Katherin is responsible for HR within TBC, with significant experience of recruitment and selection and managing high performing teams. The other side of Katherin’s role is Communications, with a particular interest in bridging any gaps between technical authors and their audiences. She provides support and expertise in developing TBC’s client reports and industry briefing notes. In addition, she heads up the development and management of our website and broader online presence.

Katherin is an experienced manager of people and projects. Her background is publishing and communications and she has over 15 years’ experience of bringing technical material to life for specialists and non-specialists. Previously she was deputy head of Publishing and Internal Communications at Royal National Institute of the Blind, the UK’s leading charity for anyone with a sight problem, where she lead publishing, magazine, web and internal communications teams all focused on honing and delivering key messages to a variety of audiences. Katherin’s responsibility included RNIB’s brand and visual identity and as part of this delivered a £1 million project to implement a new brand strategy. She also had national responsibility for engaging 3,000 staff and volunteers with key messages and brand values.

She is part of the Management Team and also works with David Tassell on finance and contractual issues.
