Joe has a high level of expertise in data analysis and interpretation. He has over 10 years of programming and GIS experience, particularly in R, Python, and ESRI GIS products, which he has built up across his PhD and roles at NGOs, consultancies, and public bodies. He has a detailed understanding of global datasets to assess biodiversity risk for businesses, including extensive experience with the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) and the Species Threat Abatement and Restoration (STAR) metric.
Joe has used these technical skills for clients across a range of sectors to assess biodiversity footprints and associated risk across operations and supply chains. He can tailor data workflows to suit client's needs and analyse and visualise data effectively to identify recommendations and to inform strategic decisions.
