Lucy Murrell

Lucy is a conservation biologist with a Masters of Research degree in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Bristol. Lucy works as a researcher in the Development team, supporting many different projects - primarily mining and renewable projects.
During her research masters, Lucy spent time in Kenya assisting with biodiversity surveys using camera traps, as well as conducting vegetation surveys and planning an investigation into holistic grazing as a grassland management strategy. She also carried out a research project for Marwell Wildlife investigating adaptation to captivity in the ex-situ scimitar-horned oryx metapopulation using quantitative genetic analysis, to aid population management.
