Sarah Ward has a background in physics and complex systems simulation. Her PhD explored the impact of changing hydrological conditions on the lesser flamingo population of East Africa. Sarah joined The Biodiversity Consultancy in 2024 as a data analyst.
Before joining The Biodiversity Consultancy, Sarah worked in a similar role in the hospitality domain for eight years using customer data to find insights for luxury hospitality clients. Recently Sarah went back to university to complete a PGCert at Oxford in Ecological Survey Techniques, where she worked with the RSPB to identify habitat features associated with Willow Tit occupation in Southwest Wales.
