The Biodiversity Consultancy has recently been recognised as an Evidence Champion by the University of Cambridge’s Conservation Evidence team. This was announced in May 2024, further strengthening our commitment to delivering evidence-based solutions for nature and biodiversity.

Organisations that become Evidence Champions commit to using evidence based practice (including Conservation Evidence and other relevant scientific sources) to guide their work and support effective conservation. Evidence-based practice is vital to ensure robust recommendations are provided to our clients, and long-term conservation goals achieved. 

Based at the University of Cambridge, Conservation Evidence is a reliable, free resource that supports decisions on global biodiversity preservation and restoration. It provides comprehensive summaries of scientific literature on the effectiveness of different conservation actions, with input from collaborators and advisers worldwide.
