Technical advice & research
Our team includes many globally recognised experts in biodiversity and ecosystem services, with extensive research experience and networks. We bridge the gaps between industry, government, civil society and academia on key biodiversity issues and use our experience to design and carry out effective research and analysis. This includes gathering data, reviewing evidence and engaging with stakeholders to produce clear assessments with practical recommendations.
Reports and research we’ve supported include:
- IUCN technical papers on offsets
- CI review of new technologies to support implementation of the mitigation hierarchy
- WWF study of Public Development Banks and biodiversity
- Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership – development of a biodiversity impact metric for supply chains
- Government of Australia study on financial options for offsets in the Great Barrier Reef
- City of Sydney – design of urban ecological corridors
